It would not be the same cuz we did get to see the Ace Vs Blackbeard fight entirely though the ending was left open ended, but the fight was over, here Oda cut away while the fight is still going on, but I get your point, but if Law was to die in this fight, I have a feeling that we'll see it, Law's death would be too important for it to happen off panel.

Yeah thats true, we did get to see the fight until their final clash, but Oda cut away from that really nicely, he set up that symbolic, mysterious finale but here he's cut away too soon and BB has only just started using the Yami now too, right before Oda cut away too.

Yeah exactly! The only thing worse than a death fakeout maybe is an offscreen death imo, although I suppose it can work in the case like with Shiryu revealing he killed Absalom and took his DF? But at the same time, if the same thing happened to Law, i'd be pretty damn pissed. Its one thing to kill him off but to do it offscreen? Now that would be insulting!

Theres also the Chekovs Gun/hanging plotline of the immortality surgery and that has to come into play somehow. I've seen people keep suggesting its gonna be used on Luffy but I wholeheartedly disagree with it/dislike that.

Aye, I completely agree. Lets hope for the best for Law at least! Hopefully both parties wont get screwed over in some way! Or at least one of them regardless!

I wish this Law vs BB clash happened later instead, I'd be fine with it, it feels too sudden, too soon right now but I guess its a consequence of Oda rushing and restructuring the story as he said for the final saga.

Seems like some info is probably fake.

Either way, I don't think King > Sanji is a bad take although Sanji should generally be on the YC1 spectrum after defeating Queen the way he did. Seems a lot of people who believe Sanji > King think it's a mid diff or lower which just doesn't make much sense
