Yeah absolutely! He seemed like the 2nd or most weakest Supernova pre TS honestly but Oda made him AMAZING at WCI! His super long shot on Oven with just a pistol was INSANE! A straight up headshot too from such a distance! Mans sniping with just a pistol somehow!
Yeah I enjoy how tactical and thus "mafia boss-like" he was, he added such an interesting dynamic to the arc and for the SHs too. All that "negotiations" with them and him betraying the BM pirates after shacking up to them for 2 years or w/e.
Aye, I do think Oda was purposely doing a parallel of Big Father Capone, the godfather vs the "Madame"/Black Widow/Maneater or something Mafia Queen was a really interesting contrast. Bege was cruel to one of his soldiers pre TS but he seems to be more honourable here, I thought he might be a bit more ruthless with them and gladly sending them to their deaths to protect himself.
Big Father felt like it should have been his awakening too, I feel he has great CoO with that pistol shot I mentioned vs Oven too. I wonder if he can have a sort of "hybrid form" with his giant castle form, acting like a Zoan sort of, making him like Pica's stone golem form but smaller and more akin to The Thing from Fantastic 4 but with his soldiers and cannons included ofc?
I'm surprised he's not ended up working with Cross Guild, I felt he should have teamed up with or even be working for Crocodile and now Croc is part of a Yonko's crew, this could set them up at least? I thought of seeing those 2 take over the OP underworld with Doffy dethroned, maybe Buggy can be the new "joker" which is hilariously appropriate as hes a clown ofc? But Croc and Capone do all the negotiating/business deals and such?
