We’ve seen Kizaru do that too in Saboady. These characters with their logia are way too powerful to give a damn really. Even when Rayleigh attacked Kizaru while he was teleporting he only got a small wound on the cheek, so you don’t really expect Yamato to injure an admiral which is what happened as he didn’t bleed whatsoever.

but GB said that it hurt him, & Kizaru didn't get hurt, also Kizaru's small wound was not because he was careless, it's because Rayleigh was strong, & Yamato as well
