Aokiji said he killed him, Oda used this to create an emotional moment after Enies Lobby, a moment that wouldnt exist if he would be alive. Now, because Oda needs a new plot device, a character that's supposed to be dead is alive. I call this an asspull. At this point why don't he just bring Pedro back.

Saul did give his life to protect Robin. But unfortunately for Aokiji, Ice does not mix well with fire, and Ohara went up in flames due to the buster call.
We learned all the way back on Long Ring Long Land, way before we saw Saul was frozen by Aokiji, that if defrosted in time, characters can be saved.
So no, there is no plot hole or ass pull. Especially since people have been theorizing that Saul was still alive, for that very reason, since Enies Lobby.
True, and people say it undermines her backstory, but it doesn't. The point was that she was alone as a child and never had many actual friends until the Straw Hats arrived. Saul being alive never changed her back story at all- It just means he survived and laid low for very obvoius reasons. And after all it makes sense- Aokiji used an attack named " Ice Time Capsule ", and a Time Capsule is made to preserve something for it to be used/seen later on. Plus Doflamingo was able to break out of the ice seconds after being frozen, too. So it's not too bizarre that Saul lived.
That'd be smart as fuck for Oda to do. Preserving Saul's life for BB to capture him or kill him, then Kuzan revolts, and Robin gets pissed too and they gang up to defeat him and his crew ( obviously with the help of the Straw Hats though, an Admiral and Robin beating an entire Yonko crew is really outlandish and very unlikely )
D: Why does Sanji-san's eyebrow curl up at the end? Is it for fashion? Make it clear!!
O: Hey!! You there, sit down!! Now listen!! Everyone lives in circles!! The Sun, the Moon, and the Earth all spin in circles!! And!! If the Earth suddenly stopped spinning!! The planet would be covered in tidal waves!! It would be terrible!! Now remember that Sanji's eyebrow channels that same powerful circular energy!! Reflect upon this!! You may go!!

Exactly. Saul being alive takes away nothing Robin went through during and after the events of Ohara. In fact, him being alive provides a somewhat happy ending to a very brutal backstory.
People who are against that, are against Robin gaining some peace of mind over such a tragic event. Shows you where their mindset is at. Can't have a character have something good happen in their life, where so many bad thing happened. How dare Oda!!!!
If Saul knows something about OP, then he has hints regarding the 4th poneglyph. Not any giant but Saul.
According to Robin it hasn't been found in a long while. What can these hints tell us
Saul surviving is an upset but it does make sense according to progression of events. Kuzan froze his body but did not break it, maybe couldn't bring himself to be that brutal to his friend so he left it up to fate. Saul catches fire and gets his burn scars.
What is dumb as shit is the fodder marines disregarding the books, like this is exactly what your mission is about lol
Should've left that scene out, the marines never see these books in the first place. Let's also ignore that the books survived months in water.

If there's someone who SHOULD know where the last RP is, that man should be the same man who survived Ohara and saved all the books filled with ancient knowledge. That man is Saul, the man marked by flames, and Saul is in Elbaf.
If Kidd goes there he will most likely get the info from Saul, and I doubt violence would be necessary tbh. Kidd should be welcomed like a war hero seen what he did to the monster called "Evil Spirit" by the giants of Elbaf.
Also, let's not forget that both Kidd and Elbaf are inspired by northern cultures...
If kid goes to Elbaf to ask Saul about the 4th Poneglyph and then SAUL REFUSES TO TELL HIM SHIT because he’s not Joyboy, the man Roger is waiting for, then one of two things happens
1. He packs up his bags and leaves
2. He tries To force Saul to tell him using violence… which means he hurts Robin’s family… which means he pisses off Luffy… Which mean Luffy stomps his ass
