Also, for fucks sake, Kaido has a Mythical Fish Zoan and he transforms into a ton of different variations of Dragons based on the myth. Of course the dude is Awakened.

That’s just his fruit, the Seiryu. It’s like saying choppers awakened cause he can control his transformations. Or luffy was awakened prior to gear 5 cause he had a ton of variations.

Awakening is a different transformation entirely for zoans. Kaido wasn’t awakened.
