It doesn't stop them from having those abilities but they make them stronger than they're supposed to be. Having awakening makes you about as special as Impel Down beasts while having CoC level-1 makes you about as relevant as Don Chinjao. That's not as special as you're pretending to be. Being a Lunarian and having regeneration is both rare and special beyond CoC and awakening. Literally, all Shichibukai were replaced with a 13-year-old Lunarian's juice. Marco is directly responsible for BB becoming a Yonko. You're living under a rock if you think the likes of Katakuri and Doffy are more special than that.

Mastering awakening =/= being awakening
The impel down gaurds where mindless monsters that couldn't control their awakenings

Being able to master awakening is still significantly more impressive than eating a logia or mythical zoan
Eating a mythical zoan doesn't stop you from being complete fodder like orochi. Same with eating a logia doesn't mean you cant get 1 tapped by pekoms

Mastering awakening actually speaks for your skill and ability

Chinjao was fighting with garp and roger back in the day...

If you compare a random lunarian to a random conqueror no being a lunarian doesn't mean much


Marco himself isn't that special and was easily overshadowed by every conqueror that was part of the wbp.

i think lucci's return was cool
this manga has a lot of memorable characters and it's great to see them return
obviously he was never going to put up a fight against luffy
