I don’t think so, Kids a conqueror sure. But Laws a D.

The only thing that made kid special pre timeskip was his bloodthirstiness that gave him a high bounty.

Kid is portrayed similarly to Law, only difference is that Kid is, personality wise, very similar to Luffy, so they get into arguments more easily than Luffy does with Law

Forgetting about how Kidd and Luffy are the only Supernova captains with a supernova underling. That again feeds into the portrayal of Kidd being above the other non Luffy supernova
