There is a reason why Oda is showing too much simultaneously, it's cuz the Endings of all these Plots are "Connected"
How? Because each Plot will end with a Major Character Introduction

Sub-Plot 01 ---> Lurking Villain (Waiting for someone to Leave Egghead)
Sub-Plot 02 ---> Imu-Sama
Sub-Plot 03 ---> ??? (Possibly Blackbeard's True Identity/Secret)
Sub-Plot 04 ---> Burning Scar Man
Sub-Plot 05 ---> ??? (Possibly Bakkin's True Allegiance & Goals)
... etc

In other words, just like Jaya Arc ended by showing that Burgess, Doc Q, Van Auger, Laffitte & Pie Guy are actually Blackbeard Pirates
Or when Thriller Bark introduced "Mysterious Four" Simultaneously after only teasing them;
Egghead Arc is gonna end with a Mega Introduction of Multiple Villains who work together in secret & are actually Story's Final Villains
(It doesn't mean they will go down together or last, but they are the ones responsible for lot of things behind the curtains)

Personally i believe we are gonna get Introduction of:

Luffy meeting Lurking Legend (From Elbaf)
Kuma meeting Imu-Sama
Kid meeting Rocks D. Xebec and/or Vander Decken
Blackbeard or Garp meeting Willie Gallon
And Bakkin/Weevil True Identity also revealed to someone
... etc

Sub-Plot 01 could (and is highly likely) to be Shiki.

1. If anything he is a legend
2. He's been planning something for 20 years
3. If we go by his non-canon movie, it's something science related.
4. He's going to kidnap Vegapunk
5. I first thought he was gonna take Chopper (but who wants another rescue mission).
6. Then Oda introduces Vegapunk + 6 VP bodies.
7. Most likely 1 or a few of them will be taken (maybe a piece or his whole brain will be taken).
8. Plus its said ships were disappearing around Egghead. Maybe Shiki has info on VP being wanted by WG and thought he was on the ships.
9. Ships being floated upto into the sky could be seen as mysterious, if you don't know where to look.

About time Shiki is introduced
