My theory from earlier. Only clashes in an attempt to escape, get VP out of there without a full scale battle but maybe Sanji ends up fighting Saturn to allow the others escape/sacrifice and kills him fulfilling his words in TB but loses his mind in the process.

Could Sanji's "Nothing happened" level moment be just around the corner? The final war is getting closer and closer, and I doubt he's gonna cause more problems than the rest of the strawhats combined during such a massive event. Not that anybody would care in the OP world.
This arc might be his last chance
Will he attack Saturn like Luffy did with Saint Charlos? Will he kill him after the lunarian genes takes over his mind?

No. A gorosei dying would make the straw hats public enemy number one. The WG would send the entire naval fleet after them which the straw hats can’t beat right now.

i believe saturn will act somewhat analogous to robin in whisky peak. back then, baroque agents were going after igaram and vivi, because they new croco's real identity. robin showed up, didn't attack and gave them a loge pose. she was the left hand of crocodile. now, cp agents are going after vegapunk and bonney and saturn, left hand of imu, shows up.

There are a few things that might set him off.

1.Seraphim: They are basically his siblings but somewhat more free will and emotion as cover art shows VP isn't as big a dick as Judge. But, Sanji already pointed out they're created to be navy weapons. Him being the one to point that out is significant. If the Gorosei comes and starts treating them like expendable slaves. That might spark something in him and Nami like Charlos did to Luffy.

2. Robin may not react well to Mr.Saturn, especially if he taunts with Ohara's destruction. Sanji already said he'd protect her and is more clingy to her since his debt to her in Wano

3. Again, allow escape for the others, his usual sacrificial tendencies.

Maybe all three together. I imagine Saturn will be a grade a prick.

I don't think Sanji could ever kill someone. Even in his probable "evil state". No one in the SHs will kill someone.

I don't think he won't even fight Saturn.

It's not gonna happen (but I'm still open to this, Sanji's fights are always welcome)
