A canon zephyr is a good bet, Weevil probably did it in the movie but I don't think that Admiral fans want to have that discussion.

I guess there's technically buggy kinda but he hasn't fought any emperor outside of that. He technically fought luffy and shanks before they became emperors

We know hes never beat or fought an emperor or fellow warlord but has the marine hunter ever defeated one of the admirals? If so who and when?

Cutting his arm off is an impressive feat and lowkey it'd probably do mihawk better than weevil

Also i still think itd be interesting if the previous wss was a marine. It'd explain a little bit more as to why mihawk was specifically attacked marines back in the day

Plus the marine hunter needing to beat a marine to be wss and the pirate hunter needing to beat a pirate to be wss sounds cool

Marines are taught swordsmanship to a certain level
And it's a massive organisation which means loads of opponents

Lots of pirates also use swords so i doubt that was the reason especially if the strongest marines he was beating were momonga Bastille level

Also if he cared that much about trained swordsmen he would've had some interest in going to wano

Apparently Kaido did since Mihawk isn't on his top 5. I've also seen "people" ask why Ryuma wasn't on Kaido's top 5.
