Come on, Luffy does this 100 times in every single of his fights before beating his opponent. Lucci wasnt even close defeat, we saw him being completely fresh when Luffy left.

Also Lucci didnt even use a single named attack yet. They fought, somewhat equally, for a chapter and then Lucci defended Sentomaru for half a chapter. An all out 1v1 fight would look a lot different. Luffy with the upper hand, but Lucci could surely push him to a high diff.

Wow, zoan awakening can boost recovery, never knew that.

So what if Lucci didn't used named attacks? He explicitly went against orders to fight Luffy, but he wasn't taking things seriously? Luffy completely trounced him; he took zero damage, dodged or countered all of Lucci's attacks, never used ACoC and caused Lucci to start blacking out after only three attacks.

If Luffy went all-out by actually using ACoC, he'd one-shot Lucci.
