This sounds like Oda is hyping them up by using a term that is essentially another way of saying “Natural born destroyer/monster”.:pepeke:

Oh well, I will take whatever Admiral wank I can even if it does sound like recycled Yonko wank. :akasalt:
Sounds like your inner critic is stronger than your inner wanker. :myman:

Indeed. My enthusiasm for One Piece gradually went down after Fishman Island, went straight to rock bottom during WCI and has now gone past subterranean levels after Wano. :whitepress:
Wano ain't over yet. I've really liked the latest chapters (the Pound reveal was bad, but it reflects poorly on WCI not Wano).

Shitman islad was bzd. Whole shit island was the worst. Wano aint thet bad besides the Oden flashback.
I have actually enjoyed Wano the least out of all of them.

Fishman Island Arc was a beyond basic racism allegory story that honestly felt like filler and seemed to only exist to show how off the SHs abilities. That being said, despite the utterly basic story telling, it was at least consistent (for Post-TS OP anyway) if not dull. A bit disappointing was how Fishman Island itself was barely explored despite it being mentioned all the way back during the Pre-TS.

I did actually enjoy elements of WCI. I enjoyed the beginning, the initial subterfuge the SH crew employed, the Tea Party, Linlin’s initial portrayal and Bege (my second favourite Supernova). It was literally just that utterly nonsensical “Cake Chase” sequence that completely ruined it. Had the Arc just ended after the Tea Party, I would have considered it an alright arc, certainly better than FI or Punk Hazard.

Wano however, I have just found utterly boring since Chapter One. The opening sequence was actually painful to read. The initial characters utterly dire to watch. Udon was feckin dumb, the Zoro vs Killer fight was stupid and Linlin being there was just the piece de resistance of complete and utter mediocrity.

Wano literally made me give up One Piece.

Meme is there. Her mere presence is guaranteed to make this a shite arc.

To quote an old meme of mine.

Missing the memes? Well have I got good news for you. I am about to try out a new meme format. :smithnie:

Inspired by SirSwag’s YouTube videos, a bunch of One Piece characters described in roughly one sentence or more.

Let’s get started. :funky:

The memes here are just too much. It's on another level entirely.

Yes another Bege fan:finally:

I don’t know why people wanna see her in Elbaf. Hopefully her head gets chopped off this arc.
I literally see no logical narrative reasoning as to why we need to see her be defeated by Luffy for a third time.

“Oh but Linlin has ties to Elbaf”. Yeah, well Arlong had far stronger ties to Fishman Island but his pointy nosed arse never came back (even though his presence would have arguably improved the arc).

Linlin legitimately needs to die for the story to function. Remember how she sent assassins to decapitate Jigra’s parent simply because he chose to attend a funeral instead of a Tea Party? If left alive, according to her established character, she should murder every single SH’s loved ones (so much for keeping Zeff safe, eh Sanji?).

Even worse are the theories that she magically turns into a SH ally despite being arguably the most despicably evil and utterly petty individual in all of One Piece.

Why anyone wants Luffy to partner up with a family abusing, child eating, racist cannibal, is quite beyond my ability to comprehend.
