Let’s have it right the only reason you want Blackbeard to be a misunderstood guy is to have Kidd have a greater focus in the final saga of One Piece and have an actual clash with Luffy

There is otherwise 0 reason to even suggest such a a point of view

Honestly, i see Blackbeard having a massive focus in the final saga of One Piece too, just not as an antagonist. But i dont see Kid as an antagonist too.

I more see them both with Luffy as the final lead into the final war. A final alliance of BB, Luffy and Kid. Maybe a fourth part too. But this three, will be, in my theory, the leading figures in the war against Imu.
