Gamestyle -

-Traditional Setup - This game will prominently feature an uninformed majority against an informed minority.

-Closed Setup - No information about the setup will be available before the end of the game.

-Closed Communication - After reception of their role PM, players will not be allowed to discuss it outside of the game thread or during Night phases, except as specifically dictated in individual Role PMs.

-Open Claiming - This game will feature restrictions on neither role claiming nor character claiming, except as specifically dictated in individual Role PMs. That being said, I heavily advise against it.

-Day Start - This game will begin with a Day phase. Day 1 will last 48 hours, abilities are disabled for the first 24h, with a few exceptions.

-Plurality Lynch - The player with the most votes at the end of the Day phase will get lynched. In the event of a tie, one of the tied players will get lynched at random. No-lynch is an option. In the latter stages of the game, a hammer option will be available to the players if accepted.

-Quasi-Dusk - In this game, each Day phase will officially end as soon as the 48/24 hours deadline is reached. A Dusk phase will not be officially recognized, and players may continue discussing in the game thread until the next Night phase begins, however day actions and voting sent after the Day phase has ended but before the next Night phase has begun will be ignored. This also applies for the transition from night to day, as I will need to write a start of day write up.

Phase Length - The game is divided into cycles. Each cycle consist of 2 phases, a day phase and a night phase. Each phase will last 24 hours, with the exception of the first day phase that will last 48 hours. The hosts reserve the right to change the phase lenght according to their availability and schedule.

Rules -

-Do not, under any circumstances, reveal any information to any player regarding this game if you are no longer alive.

-Do not quote Private Messages from us; paraphrase. And no, replacing second-person pronouns with first-person pronouns does not count as paraphrasing.

-Do not edit your posts; double post if necessary. Failure to comply will results in severe punishment. If a player is abusing this rule, they will be mod-killed. Take this as your only warning.

-Vote towards a lynch by typing Vote lynch <name>, where <name> is the name of the player you are voting for. You do not need to type Unvote, or [Change] alongside a newer vote. We will always accept votes even with a wrong format, however it is not our responsibility if we miss them by mistake. Failure to vote results in nothing but shame.

-You must post at least 3 times per day phase. Failure to comply will result in a warning and a mod-block at the first offence. A second failure will result in a forced substitution or mod-kill. If you think you might not be able to meet the requirement at any given phase, let us know in advance and you will not be affected by the repercussions. Note that posts made for the sole purpose of meeting this requirement will not be considered.

-If you believe that we have made a mistake, please address the issue with us via Private message. This goes for questions to the hosts as well, anything addressing the hosts should be sent through role PMs. Save any other comments for after the game.

In WUs the color theme of the role will be used, and this is not necessarily alignment indicative. When a role flips, it will flip in their alignment color.

Valentine's Game Mechanism
Triangle Love

"Is she cuter than me? Does he love me? The mind drifts into senseless thoughts full of doubts that come from the heart's feelings"

Description:

Yahallo Players. In this game we'll have this special Valentine's geemu called Triangle Love.

Each DP you choose 2 players to go on a daetto with. One of you 3 will be the lead in the daetto and the other 2 must try to earn the most affection points and win over the lead's kokoro.

The 3 players must agree to go on a daetto together and submit the choice in their role PM. After this you may decide who will be the lucky lead to receive all the attention from the other 2 players. The lead will then choose the location for the daetto to take place during the night, and in each location there are different choices that will make you earn a set amount of affection points for the lead. You can also give presento that you previouly bought in the Valentine's shop during the day and give it to the lead to increase your affection points even further.

Naturally the one with the most affection points wins! The prize is that you and your beloved will marry and live happily ever after, like in a fairy tale... ehrmm is this not enough for you? *Ahem* then a different prize will be given to the winner!

Nothing comes free in life, so you have to pay for the presento and for the daetto choices and even the location! Is it expensive? I dare to say no! There's no price too high in life to be with and win the heart of your beloved!

Are you going to wait, miss the opportunity and let your love escape? Or are you going to grab the bull by the horns and be the winner of this game called love?

Locations:

Each DP the lead in each date will choose a location for the 3 players to go, where a few choices will be given per location to increase the affection points towards the lead. The lead must pay 5 coins to take everyone to the desired location.

There are a total of 11 locations to choose from:

Cinema - the standard for any daetto to have a good time.

Park - A relaxing stroll around Nature

Shinto Temple - Wish for good luck here and do some activities exclusive to the temple

Food District - For those whose food equals happiness

Karaoke - Impress your lover with your singing skills (or lack of)

Restaurant - A fancy dinner for fancy people

Cruise to the Sea and Dinner - What's more romantic than doing a Cruise in the Sea? You might even be able to have a Titanic moment with your lover

Aquarium - To enjoy the sea life and discover new fish species. Always a hit on dates.

Plains outside the city at night - To enjoy a romantic time outside the city under the starry night sky

Bar - Is going to a bar romantic? Probably not but you might have fun getting drunk with your beloved

Summer Festival- A traditional japanese summer festival. People can enjoy good food, have fun and watch fireworks. A lot of couples and wannabe couples usually go to the festival

How to earn coins:

• Kind Valentine's - "It's important to receive, but also to give". Provided an accurate Vote Count when requested [2 coins]
• Towniest Himedere - "Hmpf I'm the Towniest Townie in the game you peasants". Received no votes during the day [1 coin]
• Deredere - Full of energy and positivity. Amongst 3 highest posters during the phase [3 coins]
• Dandere -Shy, quiet and of few words. Be amongst the 3 lowest posters in the game [2 coins]
• Heart's Hunter - "A good scum is a dead scum" Lynched your own faction [2 coins]. Lynched opposite faction [3 coins]
• Tsundere - "I-I-It's not like I want you to give me a presento y-you b-b-b-baka". End up voting your soulmate in the phase [2 coins]
• Saviour of Love - Because without you, life would have no meaning. Saved a player from certain death [3 coins].
• Trivia Master - IQ level -> Over 9000! Successfully answered a trivia question [4 coins]
• Kuudere - Serious, blunt and down to earth. No fluff posts in a phase [2 coins]
• Activist for Activity - "If you want to change the World, be the change yourself". Receive coins for activity [1 coin per 20 posts]
• Praise the Lord - "For thy Greatness is unfathomable O Lord". Thanked the hosts for the game or complimented them. Once per player per cycle [2 coins]

A shop where you can buy a presento during the day to offer to your beloved at night. You can only use one of each presento per daetto. Special prices for Valentine's Day:

[Bear Doll] - Fluffy bear doll to hug and sleep at night (4 coins)

[Bouquet of Flowers] - You can't go wrong with offering a girl flowers (5 coins)

[Love Letter] - A romantic gesture to show how serious you are. This love letter comes with a little bit of perfume on it (7 coins)

[Basket with Wine, Cookies and a Bottle for a Spa Aromatherapy Bath] - For those relaxing nights at home by yourself (8 coins)

[Star bracelet] -A bracelet with star acessories. It's a symbol of good fortune and wish for an happy life (11 coins)

[Homemade Keeki with Blueberry and Strawberry] - Nothing is more effective than making a cake and win over your lover through the stomache (13 coins)

[Full Heart Pendant] - A pendant that can be opened and with a compartiment to put something small on it (15 coins)

[Set of Half Heart Pendants] - Couples can only exist in pairs. And this pair is specially made for you and your special one (20 coins)

Clothes & Acessories Shop:

You cannot go on a daetto looking like an homeless person or showing that you don't care about your appearance! What you do in a daetto is important, but how you look is just as much! This shop will multiply the affection points you earn on dates by a certain percentage. Non-consumable and more than one can be bought. They'll be automatically taken into account after you buy them. Special prices for people who are looking to escape from the single life:

[Perfume] - The basics for dating. You shouldn't go on a daetto smelling like you haven't bathed for a week. (4 coins)

[Acessories] - An earring there, a hat here, a cute bracelet on the pulse. All kind of acessories to make you look cuter (4 coins)

[Facial Make Up] - it is said that make up can change how a person looks and this one works like magic (6 coins)

[Make Your Hair] - If your hair's not right, you can expect the date to go the same way (6 coins)

[Classy outfit] - For those gentleman who like to court a lady (10 coins)

[Highschool Uniform] - This will make you look younger and it's an hit if you want to flirt with your date (15 coins)

[White Dress] - Some people like to flirt, some like the air of purity and innocence that this dress gives. You'll look cute in it and you can be sure that this thought won't escape from your lover's mind (20 coins)

Each NP you may visit a player and if they're your soulmate you'll enter a chat together until death do you apart. This visit is unblockable and undetectable.

Summary/Miscellaneous/Additional Info:

- Everyone starts with 6 coins, unless specifically dictated otherwise in your role.

- During the DP, you must choose 2 other players to go on a date with at night. All 3 must confirm in their role PM the choices.

- After the 3 are chosen, you must select who will be the lead in the date to give presents to, etc. The lead will not have choices in the date nor will he be able to give presents.

- The lead will choose the location and pay 5 coins for the 3 players to go on a date in that location.

- Choices that cost coins will appear in the chosen location. The 2 players will choose an option for what to do in the date, for a total of 3 per player (excluding the lead). This will raise affection points.

- You may also give presents to the lead. This is merely to raise affection points and the lead will not keep the items to use in future dates.

- The winner will receive a prize. The lead will receive a prize also but it's a prize not as good as the winner but definitely better than getting nothing. The loser will be refunded of 50% of the coins used on the date, including coins used for presents given.

- You can buy items in the Valentine's Shop to raise affection points on a date. The items in Acessories shop are one time buy only each for each player and they will multiply the affection points of choices and presents in dates by a set amount. These items will not be consumed in dates and will be automatically used on all dates. All items must be bought during the day.

- The same item from the Valentine's shop can only be used one time per date and will be consumed upon usage. You may give more than one present as long as it isn't the same one.

- Shops are locked during DP1 and will be unlocked starting DP2

- You may earn coins through the methods explained in How to Earn Coins.

What says "Valentine's" like a brutal murder mystery?

In this game, starting from Day 1, every cycle a scenario will be posted, for a total of 3 scenarios. To guide you, certain text spoken by characters will be coloured in either Red or Purple. The Red Text means that the statement is true, and you don't require any further evidence of that. The Purple is the same as the red - with a couple of twists. Most notably, the Culprit(s) can lie using the Purple Text. Also, Purple can refer to beliefs held by a character. Examining the wording is crucial, as you attempt to deduce who might be trying to lead you astray.

A list of characters present in every scenario will be posted at the start of it. Once per cycle, you may submit a guess as to who the cluprit is. If you are correct, you, and everyone who guesses correctly, will win a prize. If no one solves a mystery, it will roll over to the next day, which means at most you can submit three guesses in any given cycle - one for each scenario. For the final scenario, you must also explain how the murders were done... assuming it is possible for a Human to have made them. Alongside every scenario, you may guess that "Beatrice" is the culprit. There will be no prize for this, unless the mystery is truly unsolveable with the human cast.
