And people kept thinking the fake ones with ten lines of action, a thousand feats of prowess, a million panels of hype all over the island, involving every named character in the arc, were real.
Oda doesn't put that much content into one single chapter anymore. We can have one awesome scene. You can have Sanji vs Kizaru OR Luffy vs Saturn OR Zoro vs Pinzoro. But you can't have them all. The second even two of these major confrontations start out of nowhere in a spoiler it's immediately obvious it's fake.

If Pinzoro actually appeared on panel and even had at least one line of dialog, after the whole "Zoro's past is too inconsequential for the manga, so I'll put it in the SBS" fiasco, people would lose their minds and it WOULD become a hype moment to fill out pages upon pages of pointless ones and zeroes.
