The setting is once again, October 4th 1986, on the island of Rokkenjima. The family gathered for their annual family conference, and as usual, it was a hotly contested affair. However, partway in, the Head Servant Genji interrupted, informing that an extra guest had shown up. Apparently, she had been in a boating accident, and had washed up on the shore. Her survival could only be described as a miracle.
At hearing this news, Kinzo made his appearance too.
A short while before...
???: Erika... lives!
???: Gah... argh *cough*
???: Bleh... the salt water went up my nose...
???: No matter! The detective has made her magnificent arrival, and now the murder crimes will begin! Please leave some wonderful dying messages for me!
After Kinzo joined in with the family conference, the group decided to have a go at solving his epitaph. Miraculously, they managed to work together and solve the riddle, finding the tons of gold hidden on the island.
Battler: You really do have an awful personality, Erika. You're smart, but...
???: I'm an Intellectual Rapist. I enjoy revealing that which people want to hide, just to see the looks on their faces when they realise that I know. I also enjoy solving mysteries. I do hope I get to see a wonderful serial murder case tonight...
Battler: You've said that a few times tonight. What do you mean?
???: It's obvious. I am the detective. And where the detective goes, a crime is sure to follow.
Night fell, and the family went to sleep, with a warming sense of peace in the air. But when they woke up... the first twilight had occurred, and more deaths would follow...
Characters:
All the characters from the previous mystery are present. Moreover, Shannon and Kanon are treated as entirely seperate entities for this scenario. In addition, there are two more characters joining the cast this time:
Kinzo Ushiromiya - The Head of the Ushiromiya family. He restored the Ushiromiya's to former glories and then some during his time in headship, and now his health is failing him, he desires to see a worthy successor.
Erika Furudo - A girl who washed up on Rokkenjima after falling off the pleasure boat "The Eternal Maid II" mid-cruise. She was welcomed as a guest by the Ushiromiya family, and is highly invested in problem-solving and reasoning.
