Chapter Discussion The Seraphim as Shichibukai Replacements...

So far we've seen 4/7(?) of the Seraphim, designed to replace the Shichibukai as a system. Given the few chapters of them butting heads against the Straw Hats and the Amazon Lily Feats they have, I think there's enough to compare the existing Seraphim with the Shichibukai.

Do y'all think the Seraphim are adequate replacements of the Shichibukai so far?
Are they competent enough to replace the Shichibukai?
Are they strong enough to replace the Shichibukai?​

They’re adequate replacements.

Strength:
The seraphim are stronger than the commander of yonko crews so that’s already enough for them to prove useful to the marines.

And ignoring Mihawk as an outlier, each Seraphim seems stronger than their Warlord counterpart (again ignoring mihawk). As they utilize the warlords fighting skills in conjunction with lunarian speed and durability hax, lasers, and for S-Shark and Hawk devil fruits designed to enhance their abilities more than making up for a lack of haki.

Competence:
The biggest plus side of the Seraphim over the Warlords is obediency. The seraphim have complete obedience to those in the chain of command which would’ve been more helpful in Marineford than the warlords constantly fighting for themselves.

They are perfect replacements because:

- They are amped with Lunarian Flames.

- They have features such as Lasers or Devil Fruits.

- They obey the orders like well-trained dogs.

- They don't demand anything in return and they won't betray you.

Literally, everything the World Government could ever dream of with the Schichibukai system prior.

Kuma got his shoulder dented by preskip pinzolo. S-bear is taking a barrage of attacks from hybrib lucci and yonko luffy. Seraphim are great at attrition.

Imagine the difference if the Warlords were Seraphs in Marineford.

Seraphim probably low/mid diff the Shichibukai, so they're definitely a strong addition and maybe now the entire Marines can put up a fight against more than one Yonko crew at once.

Very adequate.. seems like u either have to be a adv coc user to hurt them regardless or u have to catch them out of flame on mode if ur fast enough etc… some have same dfs as originals and even dfs that match them perfectly… wg hype imo

Seraphim just have better conditional durability that will be figured out whenever Oda wants to.

7 obedient B are better than 7 random unhinged S.

In a vacuum though the original Shishibukai would eat the poor kids alive.

Mihawk alone soloes all of them. Add all the 7 original ones, and Seraphim get eradicated.

We're not even sure they can use Haki and we know they can't awaken their DFs.
