Havent posted here in a while. I wish BB would smack the shit out of shanks. I dont like Kidd either so on one side, I am glad someone shut his loud mouth but I wish someone would do the same to "Too good to be true" Shanks and I will celebrate when we have BB destroy shanks. Pls oda, give me this.

To give Kidds crew credit though, at least their loyal to his life. They sacrificed their gains, their poneglyph rubbings to try and save their captains and vice captains lives.
You can argue they betrayed Kidd and Killer and maybe Heat should have burned the rubbings or thrown them overboard but I think he made the right choice, especially from a more noble perspective, more selfless.
It's not worth throwing your lives away, "just for honour or pride" or whatever. Its a waste of life, especially when said captain is merely 23 or whatever, still barely an adult even, never mind living a full life and or many decades of adventure, sailing, exploring, fights, gains etc.
Kidds crew could have deserted him and fled. If they survive, they might anyway but I don't think they will. When you have someone as utterly loyal and selfless to his captain as Killer (like Kidds equivalent of Zoro), it sets a precedent to the rest of the crew and maybe inspires them to be loyal too.
His crew do seem ride or die but they could be dead here now too potentially and unfortunately.
If they do die, at least they died loyal to Kidd, as foolishly easily, young and thus inexperienced as they are.

Kid got the Sabaody treatment post timeskip it is what it is.
Law will maybe get the same narrator boxes ,or maybe he will escape BB.
Luffy on the other hand will win and solidify his Yonkostatus .

It is clear that events around Egghead mirror Sabaody and other events pre TS.
