So here's the deal, if Ratchet was targeted by a busdrive, how did your downgrade and a redirect reach him?

So here's what Ratchet was targeted by:
- Downgrade - You
- Roleblock - Pero (Ratchet is immune to this 'cause he was targeted by a role block day 1)
- Redirect - Because he was redirected to Pot.

I am still wondering about the results. Busdrive seemed like the simplest explanation.

I wasn't redirected since my other action reached Ekko. Rereading through the game a bit, I did notice a point about fake WUs being brought up by TAC, Ratchet and Charlie.

I think you already mentioned a decent possibility here :

Again, if we're tinfoiling fake flips, fake census and all that, then Kyoka Suigetsu can probably give a player fake results.

The chances of a busdrive happening between Ratchet and one of Aizen's teammates, that also makes me learn one of his teammates passives seems very small.
Add to it that the passive itself states Aizen's name, that as long as Aizen is alive whoever has that ability is death immune minus the lynches.

I am starting to think that our abilities can also be manipulated. Hence why a "True" census coming from Charlie is threatening to the mafia.

To answer the question, I targeted John Wayne (UWU). I was hit by two negative actions last night that I was told of - an ability downgrade which reduced the kill from a kill to a rolecrush, and a redirect. I've confirmed with Fuji that a redirect will only show in the writeup as a single-target ability. I also have a passive that alerts other players when I target them. I was redirected to Pot Goblin. I was also blocked by Pero, apparently, but because I was blocked by someone day 1, I was immune to it Night 1.

Ratchet explains which abilities target him ^

It's impossible that a bus drive hits Ratchet and only affects Apollo's results, but makes Yoru's and the redirector's ability go through.

There's only one possibility, somebody corrupted Ratchet's investigative results assuming my town read of Apollo.

I agree, we can speculate endlessly.

Personally I think we just got unlucky and our census got triggered early. Cause if we got it after SK's and Michille's flips that would've given a lot of insight on the current state of the game. That's probably the point of the 3 census this game with an instant census, one that activiates at a fixed time, and one that activates whenever it gets triggered.

Ultra claims that he got told that I visited him last night

I have claimed Shuhei Hisagi, and that my only action so far has been Explosive Bands, used last night, which is a 3 shot that allows me to avoid the first action used on me(except for kills or positive actions). I confirmed with Fuji that this would not have blocked an investigation. I could not have been redirected to visit ultra as it is an ability that targets the user of the ability(me.)

So can you think of any mechanical explanation for these results on you?

There's "true state of the game" in mine. Not "current factions". Another thing i don't like is how it says about "current" factions if it's only usable once, at the start of the game. If these are original factions, is that Word necessary here?

I assume your census will reveal things to be different than what SK/Ultra claimed. Hence why you were targeted with the poison.

You must of missed my posts at the start of the day phase if that’s all you’ve seen, Mr. Lord Melkor.

I am less sure of it but I would still urge town to never quote a host WU if they can help it. Mr. Aizen is ensnaring town somehow and I would bet 10/10 times it is through fake write ups.

Kinda. I don't think an ability should be that powerful and I could also be wrong on a lot of things. The only thing that doesn't make sense here is your result on Ratchet because the result is what led us to believe that Ratchet was bus driven and now we're tinfoiling all of this.

I have a passive that makes the first player i target immune to role cops and protects them from the first harmful action targeting them.


So, if what Apollo did was role coping, he's most likely lying.

I have reason to believe that you're not fully truthful here - I got hit with a redirect as well as a downgrade. So for your claim to work I'd have to have been hit by another thing too on top of the three other abilities targeting me. Why did you downgrade my abilities anyway?

My problem with this thing would be, if you get ability's name and alignment, why can't you just get role's name? Like, you know flavour anyway. This kinda sounds like role cop tbh

I already asked about this btw, he said it would be too powerful if I learned the Role name, ability name/effect and alignment altogether. So I only get two.
