Whicn kinda bother me because Blackbeard whole ass plan about becoming a warlord was for the purpose of recruiting level 6 prisoners to make his crew more powerful. Kinda pointless if he could recruit people stronger than them in Paradise.

Blackbeards plans are always to do the least amount of leg work possible.

He doesn’t want to hunt for crewmates cause famous pirates are all in impel down so get a crew without having to look for one.
