A good ending would be that Coby get saved but at the same time Garp dies. Afterall he is the classic shounen old legend that sooner or later has to be sacrificed. What purpose does Garp has in the story at this point? It would be a good moment to exit the story. BB gets hype just like Shanks, Luffy has another reason to hate him, Coby gets motivated too. If he escapes with Coby it will just shit on BB just like when Luffy stormed WCI despite BM, Kata and what is left of that crew.

Something’s gotta give, Koby (marine hero of the future) will be saved at the expense of Garp (marine hero of the past). Garp will probably die here somehow, perhaps fighting the whole BB pirates while the Sword members escape (probably by Garps order, like WB did). Garp will probably outclass them but then Blackbeard returns to the island, which will completely turn the tides.
