Marines may split into two opposing forces, either way I don’t see Sakazuki being shafted for a nobody like Imu. That’s Kaguya levels of bad writing

Akainu won't be shafted. He is sabo's endgame most likely. Imu will have well rounded story and lot of chapters to be explored. Kaguya came out of nowhere

BlackBeard has been introduced in Drum Island, was first shown in Jaya. His built up is the longest among all post time skip villains. His name is the same as the most famous pirate in real world. In a manga that focuses on pirates, it is very obvious he will be the final villain. The only other that have a chance is Im or Shanks but that is very low chance.

Want to say it'll be a mixture between Sakazuki and Blackbeard, but I can't see Oda handing Luffy to two top tiers. Same with Zoro fighting top tier Shiryu and then Mihawk. The only solution is that drug the Minks gave Zoro to fight King.
