That's cool. I think in some cases like Zoro vs kamazo early on in Wano it enhanced the animation. Since Onigashima, it's been overdone and in many cases took me out of the action.

Scenes like these are great. It's when characters are using a new technique or two characters are clashing/trading punches that doesn't need all the color. Auras/effects should be the garnish. These motherfuckers add too much we don't even see the punches that the aura was supposed to enhance lol

This scene is actually very effective. Style can paint a better picture than a realistic art. IF used sparingly. But when everything is flashy and outstanding, nothing is.
