I think they focus more on Nika introduction and Final Sequence.
There whole fight might take 1-6 episodes. Given they took 4-5 chapters in manga.
And best animators for six episodes straight would be difficult.

It’s not really a budget thing it’s more of a time thing. They need a good schedule for the staff to keep the quality like this. That’s why we get recaps and stuff
