With there being a stronger man/creature around even when whitebeard and kaido where in their primes how likely is it that there is a swordsman stronger than mihawk?

Probably Mihawk stays the WSS, the gandhi gorosei hasn't been never underlined in that role aside from carrying a sword, also now we know he is a myth df user or something so he could be just like King and don't care for the WSS title at all, probably all he cares is to serve Im at the best of his abilities (a bit like a royal guard with Meruem in HxH).

Garland guy is the same for now also I doubt he can compete with Shanks or Mihawk, at least from what we have seen until now.

The only swordsmen that can exist that are stronger than Mihawk have to be dead. He doesn't have to be stronger than Roger, or Ryuma for example. Oda can include literally hundreds of these kind of characters if he pleases. But him making any of the currently living people stronger than Mihawk in that sense? Not fucking happening.

If he ever intended to replace Mihawk in such a manner he would have done it way ahead of the supposed final saga.

Shanks is imo a stronger fighter than Mihawk but still a weaker swordsman, so there may be people like this type but Mihawk is still the strongest swordsman.
