Completely relatable and understandable. I hate flying so much. I love the idea of flying but I hate being in planes and at the mercy of them, the weather, the pilots and especially in extremely cramped cabins with limited space and not many toilets and difficult/annoying/crazy passengers and so on ofc lol.
My family love to travel and my mum has wanted to go abroad again for years, even forcing me to go on a plane twice for previous holidays in the past, despite how terrified I was. We went to Spain and Turkey and it was absolutely fantastic but I was terrified as hell on the plane there and back lol.
I cannot travel on water at all either, despite how much I love water too ironically.
It fucking sucks not being able to travel but not as much as it sucks being in economy class on an airplane. Never mind trying one of those "budget airlines" too!
