Skysplit is special because it's a clash between 2 heaven chosen / 2 destiny child. The exclusivity is it's main value.

I don’t know anything lol I thought it made perfect sense for luffy first sky split to be with shanks first because great pirate etc but oda said nah… it really just depends on how much oda respects zoros dream and in effect luffy as well, unless oda changes what’s wrote in the vivre card which he very well may… Mihawk is waiting for someone stronger than shanks. So what better way to show zoro on that level at least by doing a sky split or some words from shanks at least lol
