The manga is falling down for 2 main reasons imo;
1. Biweekly schedule. Almost all the competition has weekly schedules so that kinda messed them up. It's easy to forget stuff when the manga is released every 2 weeks meanwhile other mangas are dropping chapters back to back every week.
2. Focusing too much on side characters. This is a very rare occurrence where the majority of the readers started reading the manga because of the main character. There are too many side characters who are getting a lot of focus. Pair that up with the fact that it's a biweekly series and we can go several months without seeing the mc doing anything.
