Haven't seen it

i know people like it a lot, but i also heard horrible things about the anime adaptation

and i'm kinda dead brained right now for reading manga, watching something might be easier for my mental state
RoR is one of those stories that take themselves too seriously, dripping with seemingly 'meaningful' lines and over emotional, hollow character interactions and exaggerated drama.
I dropped it.
I'm talking about the manga, didn't watch the anime.

Aye I can relate. Anime is better for when we need to chill out, escape and such. RoR anime is alright, it has its issues but its not quite as bad as Naruto Pain Invasion, the Seven Deadly Sins controversies with its awful animation quality at one point and other similar problems. Its servicable.
I actually watched it dubbed and enjoyed it too surprisingly. Its not a heavy series mentally to watch, not complex or w/e, its pretty simple/laid back but with a very strong concept and stakes. Basically tournmanet arc the anime. Its only 10-12 episodes for season 1 and season 2 seems to be about 25-ish episodes I guess.

House Husband and Sakamoto Days are supposed to be good. But unfortunately I barely watch new anime/series so I'm not the best to recommend stuff either.

Its not an anime but Pushing Daises is a really charming, heartfelt, whimsical series with a lot of heart, great acting, writing, music etc. Not sure if its your kind of thing but its quirky, its camp/cheesy, kind of a musical at times but it has some sad/emotional moments IIRC. Its definitely got a lot of heart regardless and involves solving murder mysteries by resurrecting the dead but the guy who can resurrect them, only has 60 seconds before they die again and he can't touch anyone without killing them either I think, so hes like the Grim Reaper too.

It's a romantic comedy and murder mystery series but honestly its so good, one of my most favourite series of all time.

There was this absolutely absurd, casual, One Punch Man style series I watched years ago called To Be Hero too, that was surprisingly good and extremely weird. Much more heartfelt than I expected.

I'll probably end up thinking of more series when I'm not trying to right now, typically lol.

After all this time here, maybe I was an asshole. But when others are assholes to me, I don't put them on ignore.
:kayneshrug:
Ngl the only people I have on ignore are BillSlipton, Kaios (formerly, Idek why I unignored, but he and Slipton act very similar), and Warchief (posts a lot of porn, and is generally not a very pleasant person to be around).
I've contemplated putting others on it, which I may or may not say directly here, but ultimately didn't.

Not everything needs to be the new Fullmetal Alchemist

sometimes it can just be a fun dumb series tbh

i'm kinda tired of how overly critical the internet has made me over the years

good were the days when i could just watch random stuff, even things considered awful, and enjoy them for what they were

now you have to hear from everyone how dogshit or how PEAK everything is, kinda :cr7:

Thats the one! I love that design so much! Makes me think of Zeus particulrly, Olympus and such BUT how the fuck do you eat that?! Does it taste like metal and "shocking"? Sharp? Its like Crocodile's fruit, I love the look of it but its a fucking cactus? LOL! Appropriate for the sand/desert theme but MAN!

Oh look what I found!:

I can think of certain various staff and members here who would adore this lol.

Lmao, i'm a Zoro fan but i don't hate Sanji fans, even with their attitudes, I talk and laugh with them, the same thing with Admiral fans, I made fun of them but I like to talk to them.

Even @Midnight Delight , Seatonnes and @K!NG HARA$H!MA who are shitposters are also cool and I talk to them.
