It's not cheap shot since he was not attacking garp ( was wrong to call it that lol) but either way this was never going to be a clean 1 on 1.
Also garp haki was never going to be the level it was when he was prime or face roger you even had him say and show that .
That was 25 plus min years ago and the man is 80 now .
Also i don't see how Kuzan look bad if garp put him self in that position .
It was always possible he would have fight many people or protect weaker people and he get fuck up for it .

Ambition is haki, Redon calls CoC "rasgos de dinastia".
Garp is not even using conqueror's haki after the stab...:josad:
