Just read the full chapter(spoilers) and its even worse than i thought, shiryu didn't have the balls to target ONE single attack on Garp's direction.

He waited while everyone was dealing with to sneak attack coby and even then garp managed to read his attack and protect koby.

Forget about third spot, shiryu might be 4th or even 5th lol, fodder of the fodder with trash haki on top of that.

But where is the surprise??? Zoro's opponents are known for being trash haki users.

He can do that when he comes back. The Gorosei so far in the series have always confronted the person that learned about History and that's how Oda drops lore bombs. VP reveals something big and Saturn shoots him.

You're in denial if you say Vegapunk and Saturn won't meet.

Vegapunk = greatest scientist
Saturn = military god of science/defence
