Irrelevant. Fact is Shanks knew better than anyone that the navy would not fight him due to his position/connection. Only reason he pulled up at the very end of the war and not before.
Again irrelevant. My point was that the ADMIRALS did not care about Shanks' threat. They calmly proceeded to attack the submarine, and Shanks stood there knewing he can do nothing about that "insult" of his threat being ignored.
You cannot tell me you honestly believe Shanks wouldve been able to do anything there if the Admirals decided to jumo him there?... Obviously he knew the navy wasnt his enemy.

The submarine literally got away... There was nothing else left to do at that point. And Akainu as an Admiral did not have any authority to decide to continue or not, that was clearly in the hands of the FA. Regardless Akainu is insanely smart - attacking Shanksright there wouldnt be a good move for the overall goal of the navy and peace/balance in the world.
