Yeah Shiryu losing to Zoro after Kizaru makes no sense, at least with the way that Shiryu has been presented so far.
I mean, if Shiryu is as strong as some people say he is, he shouldn't even need to get involved in the fight the way that he did. If it wasn't clear before, it's definitely obvious now that the whole reason Shiryu is dangerous is because he's unpredictable, sneaky, and underhanded. Not necessarily because he's the best fighter around.
So with that being said, I don't necessarily expect Zoro to solo Kizaru this arc. In fact, I fully expect that it'll be a team/group endeavor unless Luffy fights him. Actually I'd even go so far as to say that Oda would likely let an external ally defeat Kizaru before he'd let Zoro do it. But that doesn't mean I'm happy about it lol

Emily would have been absolutely heartbroken at Tashigi's treatment in this arc. She really wanted her character to have some of enmity with Shiryu because he was everything she thought Zoro was.
As a swordswoman, she should have been revolted by the way Shiryu impaled Garp if the Oda of part 1 was still writing. Another missed opportunity. I am a Tashigi fan but I am starting to lose complete hope. The worst part is that in almost every spin off manga & game her character is so likable. This is completely on Oda.

You too are just a victim of oda formula with one piece..... Nothing really happens. All he has to do is show a few things out of the arc and people start saying it's good.. It is like giving perfumed shit to eat and you start thinking the smelly shit which was the current arc was also actually good... But the fact remains is we are still served shit.
This has become so apparent after timeskip, where the only thing which interests in something outside the arc.. We wait for next arc, turns out boring, get some hype with outside arc chapters... Repeat
