I thought it was lame. Doesn't feel like actual story or plot progression.

So what if she's crazy? Everyone in that world is crazy. Waste of an entire chapter to point out the girl is crazy ...

It does raise questions though. Why did Yoshido bring her to Denji? He was about to flip and spin the chains.

No way this isn't a nod to the hallway fight scene in Oldboy (2003). Fujimoto is waaaaaaaay too good and bonkers for it to be a concidence. :steef::steef::steef:
