General & Others Would you be upset if the vice admiral give Zoro or Sanji good fight?

In fact they do. We are in the final saga. We do not need fights that does not make the plot or the characters go forward.

Obviously you can like only that type of fights and so want only those, but there is no need whatsoever aside from your personal preference.

Personally speaking, I am completely fine with some less difficult fights unless they took too much time.
Now the mugi are some of the strongest fighters in the world. Wanting only fights to the death would mean almost no fights whatsoever. And the stronger one becomes, the more difficult is to fight a worthy adversary for obvious reasons.

And by the way, we are in the final saga, not final arc. We might very well have at least 200 chap. or more ahead.

The only people that need high diff/extreme fights this arc are:
Luffy, Brook, Chopper, Ussop

If Brook, Chopper and Usopp don’t get serious fights at this point I’m losing hope for them and their match up against the BBP captains would be nothing more than mid tiers going at each other. Which is disappointing considering both crews are emperors fighting for the throne of PK.

The plot going forward doesn’t equal always fights to the death. No matter the difficulty if the SHs destroyed most of the navy fleets it still be considered a win as the navy would have received heavy blow damaging their reputation worldwide. Kinda similar to the WCI to some extent.

Nah, Oda ain’t that nice. If anyone getting Vegapunk’s help among pirates it would the SHs. BBPs are satisfied with DF power ups which if SHs were the accepting type to eat it would have been a better choice than Vegapunk to some extent.

A non filler fight is not necessarily a death match.
Ryuma vs Zoro was not a death match but it made Zoro character move forward. Or Luffy vs CC was not a death match but made the plot move forward.

Example of filler fights : Luffy in Udon, Zoro vs Hody, Vergo vs Sanji.

I do not think we need more filler fights at those stage of the story. Every fight should be meaningful.

These VAs (1B class) : Cracker type of fights, they prove themselves once again

Hold on? Are you implying Luffy was beyond YC level when he was oneshot by Kaido at the beginning of Wano?


Luffy wasn't even beyond YC level on the rooftop. That's why he needed Zoro to protect and save him.

Stop trying to use Doffy, Cracker and Katakuri to determine everyone else's strength. Remember, it's easy to look strong when you are facing an opponent who's only YC level for 20 minutes at a time.

So is it not meaningful if the SHs the new emperor crew prove to be capable to hold themselves against an admiral as well as a navy fleet that could make a buster call look cute in comparison? If things go through in this battle it’s a huge reputation buff for the SHs in a global scale.
