Luffy has more of a reason to fight Kizaru than Zoro ever did, the only thing Zoro has for him is the Rayleigh parallel.

Luffy has a very solid reason to fight Kizaru. This is the man who caused the annihilation of his crew, right before his eyes, while he was powerless to do anything about it.

As far as the Rayleigh parallel, that doesn't really mean much. They just share similarities on the surface. Doesn't mean Zoro is destined to do everything Rayleigh does. What's next, he's going to get himself caught and auctioned off, so he can steal the money? Lol

Rayleigh was Luffys mentor. It's a common trope for the student to surpass the mentor, and accomplish what he couldn't. I this case, Rayleigh could only hold off Kizaru, but couldn't defeat him.

ZBoys keep thinking that Zoro and Kizaru fought or clashed back in Sabaody when in reality they never did.

This what happened.

I even went back and checked the previous chapters and nowhere did we see Zoro clashing with Kizaru.

The whole Zoro fought and lost to Kizaru, so that means there has to have a rematch with him is nothing more than a dumb headcanon belief from the ZBoys.

Also nowhere in the story has Zoro even said that he wants to defeat or get revenge against Kizaru, only ZBoys are saying these stuff because they desperately want another ZKK.

And that entire situation was just a setup so Rayleigh could come in and save the day, and allow Kuma to intervene and start sending people away.

I'm not a huge fan of York but I will give her credit for killing off and indirectly killing off Shaka and Pythagoras.

I'm just happy that Lilith and Atlas are both alive.

So lets get this straight.

1. Lucci gave his intel to Kizaru. So Kizaru knows about Gear 5.

2. Saturn says that Kizaru's light speed will let him go through the dome. So Kizaru is pulling up on the SH solo-dolo.

3. Luffy is shocked/scared/surprised when he sees Kizaru and says "someone very powerful is here." So Kizaru's presence/power/haki is enough to spook an emperor.

Chapter title is Admiral Kizaru for a reason.
