General & Others Boa Hancock's fate

Bogard

You can't win
To be fair, no one thought Oda could do such a mistake. Rear Admiral Coby was actually believable at this stage for someone who is bound to become an admiral, but now it just went back to my original opinion Coby will only reach admiral lvl during the epilogues :josad:

He stands no chance against Hancock at this stage, but i secretly hope to turn out to be wrong and he play some part at least:catcry: What's for sure though is that it's implied Hancock is in danger, maybe due to the SSG hype though

People really thought koby stood a chance against hancock even if he was rear admiral lol

Coby needs to show tactical skills, team work and preparation in this fight, he can't beat Hancock with brute force.

It wasnt, dude was introduced as captain, a few chapters later he suddenly was RA. It makes sense one of the ranks was false.
Thats the only reasonable opinion.

Maybe it doesn't seem right, Koby should still be too weak for Boa, but storywise it could work. Maybe Coby will get help, be it in numbers or some strong ally (most likely) or him being the actual helper. Anyway we know that sooner or later Luffy will have to go there to see what happened to Sabo and rescue Vivi, what if during the rescue he manages to free Boa (also it would be a good way to put some Boa fanservice)(even if storywise I guess she would rather kill herself instead of becoming a clestial dragon slave again) so that she helps him in his quest in Marijoa (could even join the crew for a while after that, wouldn't dislike that XD).

Koby is still just a Captain. In chapter 956, Koby was introduced as a "Rear Admiral". This was a mistake on Oda's part. He corrected that and volume 95 presents Koby as a "Captain".

It's still "Captain" Koby, absolutely hilarious! You still suggest he can defeat Hancock or that this dude will be an admiral when this series ends lmfao:suresure::suresure::suresure:

Didn't think that Oda would be so bold to go out and confirm my statements and correcting his mistakes once again, only two days after our discussions ...

I don't think I ever said, at least in this thread, that coby would 1v1 hancock

Just that whatever Coby would do, it would be significant, leading to him getting credit for the incident.

How strong do you think EoS Coby will be(minus any epilogues)?

There is only one way for Hancock to be in trouble and that is if an Admiral is after her. Since Fujitora's ship was near a sea-king, it is plausible that Fujitora is in Calm Belt. So, Fujitora is the best bet as to who is going after Hancock.

This Koby thing is not gonna pan out. Koby is a weakling, people would laugh at the idea of Koby causing trouble for Doflamingo, but they think that he will cause Hancock problem!!
I don’t think that Hancock is as strong as Doflamingo.

Good question, what HAVE we SEEN him do? Nothing at all, right? We’ve HEARD of his greatness (Rocky Port, being involved with SWORD), but we’ve only seen him defeat some fodder en route to Reverie. Don’t get me wrong, I like Koby as a character and see him being very powerful by EOS, but I just don’t see him beating Hancock right now, singlehandedly or otherwise.
We saw that his Haki is strong enough that he can scope out a torpedo from a ship so many miles in the distance that it wasn’t visible, that he’s fast enough to dive into the waters of the New World and outswim that torpedo making him massively hypersonic, that he’s physically strong enough to redirect that torpedo the size of a ship with his bare hands and that he’s durable enough to tank that explosion casually.

Honestly, this doesn’t change a thing. He’s obviously a lot more powerful than his rank would imply.
