I mean I didn't like the situation played out that much either. But we know Sanji felt remorse for the way things turned out and managed to reconcile with Luffy quite nicely. So it's water under the bridge for me at this point
From Luffy's point of view, it definitely is. And don't get me wrong, I understand that Sanji was put into a very complicated situation. But I still think something is not resolved from it. I don't expect or need Sanji to apologize, but I think a conversation about it involving all Straw Hats is warranted. I mean Ussop was basically left behind at W7 for a similar action.

People think that?!!! I think people think that Zoro would throw a fit over how Sanji beat up Luffy and understandably so. If Nami got angry with Sanji over it, I can only imagine how angrily Zoro would respond if he knew the whole thing.
Believe it or not, some do. Maybe not necessarily here, but I've been around to see that sentiment. And Zoro wouldn't really be angry. In fact, he'd have stood and watched as Luffy ordered.

But I digress, if Zoro were to learn what happened, he'd have been fine with the outcome since Luffy handled it like a captain should.

I disagree. Zoro basically forced Ussop to apologize to Luffy before he would be taken back to the crew. I don't think Zoro would stand by as ordered, specially since Zoro doesn't tolerate Captain's weakness.

Usopp situation was a bit different. I love the Merry and all, but Usopp was bugging over wood and challenged the captain just because he was prideful

I wholeheartedly disagree. Luffy did not show weakness against Sanji. He demanded Sanji be honest with how he felt to him, and did not want anyone to interfere with that. He was adamant about that. So much to the point, he stayed at the same spot he promised Sanji. With Usopp, Luffy was visibly shaken from him leaving. It made him look indecisive for the first time as a captain. Usopp also coming back would've have been outside of his control since he wouldn't have directly convinced him like he did with Sanji.

? He broke down crying while sanji literally kicked the shit out of him. Excatly what zoro told him not to do vs ussop.

If I remember correctly, Zoro demanded that Ussop apologize because Ussop picked a fight with Luffy i.e. the Captain. It wasn't because Luffy was indecisive.

So, basically, Zoro doesn't care about how Luffy handled the situation, he cared about how Ussop (or in this case, Sanji) handled the situation.

At least, that is my understanding of it. Honestly, I still expect WCI fight to be discussed among the Straw Hats and some sort of resolution to come out of it.

Who would ever admire zoro unless he wants to ride his swords. He would be mad if he knew he has such big male fanbase. He would be like, dudes, get off me, now!:pepeke:

Not once was Luffy on the verge of tears against Sanji.

Usopp meant every word he said at that time, Sanji did not. With Usopp, Luffy had to deal with a real mutiny within his crew. Sanji was lying through the skin of his teeth and Luffy demanded he be honest. That was his primary course of action, and he accomplished it.
