It can be a good chapter for both Kizaru and Luffy fans if Kizaru awakens his fruit and Luffy still pulls something more insane that makes him "better, faster and stronger" than Kizaru. After all, leakers hinted Luffy vs Kizaru and they said that the chapter was "shocking", "impossible", "absolute cinema", and "an excellent chapter".

Now, it could simply be that Kizaru awakens and his awakening makes him "better, faster and stronger" (than his non-awakened version) and that chapter will end with Luffy vs Kizaru cliffhanger.

However, there is a hint saying that "what've been waiting for has happened" so is it for the incident or for the awakening? God knows.

Anything but luffy mid diff Kizaru...A W is considered for Kizaru
I have high hopes for Luffy to finish the fight without getting seriously injured...Anyway, this is his first serious fight as Yonko

And then film red backing up that an admiral ain't shit to Shanks.

If Oda disagreed with Shanks portrayal in that film...then he wouldn't have humiliated an admiral like that.
