Realistically, it's hard to believe that Lucci could delay Zoro to such an extent. I wonder if the Vice Admirals will just be left idle... I didn't want to say this honestly because I like Lucci, but he might be about to undergo the same treatment that Hody suffered at the hands of Zoro.

Wow japanese fans are vocal about the new spoilers and they are NOT happy. Theyre discontented with the way Zoro is getting a lame matchup and the whole injured Lucci thing. I guess they were holding out hope for a Luffy vs. Saturn + Zoro vs. Kizaru route. There's even talks about a petition to garner a thousand signatures before the chapter is even out lol. Obviously that wont happen but it shows how unhappy they are.

Then we don't have any comparison. All we know is that Nika in basically every stat massively outranks Awakened Lucci and the force of 3 basic punches was nearly enough to knock Lucci out. Since we don't know how big the gab between Lucci and G5 Luffy is we can only look at how easily KOH-less Zoro deals with Awakened Lucci.

People have been saying Zoro is too slow for speedsters. They outright refuse to accept King as a speedster, which's going to change after Kizaru vs. Luffy. And then everyone their moms highlighted and hyped Lucci for his speed as his speed along with Luffy's was highlighted when they were fighting.

Even if Lucci isn't quite as fast as Luffy if Zoro deals with his speed in base, then his top-speed attacks are up there with the very best, and his reaction speed is much closer to the likes of Luffy way more than he's given credit for as Luffy was using FS to outdo Lucci.

Remember how Yamato failed to make Ryo bleed with an advCOC cheapshot to the head? I thought it was an inconsistency but maybe seriously wounding a top tier logia is more complicated than the readers assume.
Like yeah we got Jozu giving Aokiji a bleeding lip pre-ts but Marco & Vista together failed to give Akainu cut like wounds

Aokiji is the weakest OG admiral which says a LOT about the other two given how strong kuzan is.

Kaido was the exception because he purposely took all attacks head on, most top tiers are able to both avoid and tank 99% of attacks.
