Oda os portraying base Zoro with base Kaku. Of course they are not same level. And that just shows how Zoro duo with Kaku is stronger than Luffy duo with Lucci since they needed transformation for the same feat.

This was not random. Oda is straight saying base Zoro = G4 Luffy ~ base Kaku

Base Kaku = Hybrid Lucci ~ G4 Luffy
