So, he questions my reluctance to believe midnight's weird claim of "Joygirl dying by protecting him"

Says that he sees a connection in people having the thought that because Joygirl's role didn't mention anything about her trading places with whoever she protects and taking the kills aimed at them.

A minor note I want to make before it falls out of my brain and dies: I complained about previous pushback with the T-pein lynch. The reason I found it important to expand on is due to what he flipped and the motive behind why and how the wagon was being stalled.

2 things I find likely to happen:
The first: arguably there's a pushback on Mid's wagon to protect Mid as a scummate
The second: There's pushback against the pushback from the scum team. Pushbackception

None of these assumptions can be confirmed unless Mid flips since it's more of a hindsight thing.

For the last bit - they're two separate topics. Are you referring to the consensus among some of us that Mid is just spit balling?

I think Polar is the only one that disagrees with the idea Mid wasn't on the chopping block next, and that he feels Mid was the primary target last night. I think logically her protecting her strongest town read is far more likely (especially if we assume she was aware her time with us had an expiration date.)

Considering how absolutely annoyed she got at Mid's vagueposting, he didn't exactly build a case for himself for her to want to protect him to begin with. That we can agree on.

As for the rest, the things you quoted aren't really mutually exclusive IMHO.
