Would that really be enough though? If I remember correctly Aokiji the froze the sea between two islands.

Yes they would escape. Kuzan is extremly bad when he needs to do his job. He might even help them.

The second scenario happened once in Enies Lobby when they want to escape that place, the scene with cannon ball. And with Gear 5 Luffy can become so big.

So this is legit canon & feasible.

Aokiji is the worst match up here.

Moment aokiji uses Ice age. It's done for Strawhats.
They can't escape at all.
They can't boil this much of ice at once.

Aokiji AoE is crazy.

Aokiji won't get pass through the barrier like Kizaru did.

Vegapunk eventually lifts the barrier and they use Coup De Burst.

How would Aokiji chase the Sunny?

He can freeze the sea but Sunny would still be at a comfortable distance. Luffy can use G5 to bounce Sunny. Zoro can cut ice easy. Sanji can use Jambe. Jimbo can use martial arts to destroy the ice.

Even Akainu will fail.

Kizaru is the best man to do the job here.

but Kuzan will help starwhats and even give cheat code how to beat Akainu to luffy.

If the Vegaforce can go a great distance then they escape easy. If the ocean is frozen then navy ships would not be able to move.

Logically, no, but this is OP: Aokiji would go for a fight and Rufu would have beaten him (extreme diff).

Now only 3 or 4 are maybe stronger than Luffy.

He needs to freeze everyone if he wants to stop their escape, not just the escape route. He won’t be able to do it though because Luffy will beat him. If you can’t knock out Luffy and his strongest fighters, you don’t win, it’s simple. They’ll just find a way to destroy the ice after Aokiji’s down

The need to escape is a false premise. Why do they not fight instead running away. Luffy kicked Lucci's ass anyway, then he walked away. Makes no sense.
