Questions & Mysteries Why does Oda only draw CoA Hardening for a few characters post-WCI?

#1
After WCI, Oda stopped drawing CoA Hardening for a lot of characters that clearly have it.

None of the F6 except WsW and Ulti showed black Hardening even though all are confirmed to have it. Jack never showed Hardening. King and Queen only showed it once. Kaido never showed Hardening. BM only showed it twice. Law and Kid never used it despite having CoA. Luffy is the only character that Oda consistently draws Hardening for nowadays. Back in PH and Dressrosa, characters like Vergo, Doffy, Sai, Chinjao, and even fodders like Boo were consistently drawn using CoA. Why does Oda draw CoA Hardening for characters like Boo, but not the Calamities?

They simply don't have it.
Oda consistently draws it for characters who do.

Aside from Kidd being a proper Hakilet, BM & Law did show it before but got shafted here because the entire fight was almost like a Turn Based RPG with each sides doing 1 move each until the penultimate/final chapter of the fight where we got a bit of choreography.

Kaidou uses a black club, irrelevant to look for hardening there when we know he's using Haki. King too, used it on his sword for multiple chapters, can distinctly remember his usage in 1032, 1033 and 1035.

Kid probably used it on his bull’s horns.

we saw how BM can easily break swords with her body in her flashback. So the horns couldn’t be normal metal.

Kid’s metal always has a grayish color. The only time he has ever used black metal was the bull’s horn. No reason to think it isn’t haki.
The fact that you gotta bend over backwards and analyze the manga panels with a microscope to find a single "black shading" on the metal... proves my point.

I dont get why Queen uses it once and never again. How ulti has it but others dont
Its just weird overall
Overall, fuck oda and his confusing things

Because he introduced COA emission/flow which is stronger than COA hardening and explicitly invisible.

It's kind of a weird retcon way for characters like the admirals to be haki masters despite not showing the black shine at Marineford.

Oda did it so cause he's a hack
The only way Sasaki and Maria could lose to Robin & Franky

Oda didn't even feel that it was right that Kidd & Law alone defeated BM so he conveniently made some new "plot" nukes out of thin air to make the events more believable lol.
Still better than Mihawk failing to beat pre ts luffy or vista
