Sukuna looks good in:
chapter 225

Amazing and intense 50/50 battle. Definitely not the second most popular character in the story mogging an overhyped side antagonist for half a year.

:peperain:
Why did you become a doomer all of a sudden? I don't get how anyone can read Kusakabe's dialogue this chapter and not see a bait and switch coming

Its in the post you quoted with this failed sassy response.
Because Sukuna has to fight at least 3 special grade sorcerors after this fight, plus the rest of Jujutsu High. Keeping the rest of his techniques hidden gives him a much better chance of beating them after beating Gojo.

Sukuna's plan A was to win the fight with Malevolent Shrine, with 10 Shadows as his plan B. After 10 Shadows and Domain Expansion, all he has left is his CT. Jujutsu High already knows about MS and 10 Shadows, so no need to hide those from them. His CT is the only option among those 3 which no one knows about, so it makes more sense to try to take out Gojo with the other 2 first (keep in mind Sukuna can't use both his CT and 10 Shadows at the same time) and save his CT for the rest of the good guys.

If the bait and switch is 10 shadows or Yorozu’s gift related I’m still cooked.

Also Myamura the big jjk leaker that is (probably) a shonen jump op like Redon has been adamant the fight is over which is concerning
Only way the fight is over is if Gege is a clown who doesn't know what Chekhov's Gun is.

@EmperorKinyagi I also can’t see the fight being over because Sukuna has had 0 Black Flashes. It would be unfair if only Gojo gets to use Black Flash in this fight. Even Mahito got to use Black Flash before losing, so why wouldn’t the King of Curses get to show off a Black Flash at some point?

I agree; the fight is far from over. Some #ucked up shit needs to happen to take down Gojo or Sukuna, but their fandoms wont like the outcome.

Tbh, if you review the whole manga, you will notice that protagonists are yet to take their first major W.

- Jogo and Hanami survived Gojo in hidden inventory (?)
- Mahito escaped from Nanami and Yuji, then did the same in Shibuya (He was killed by Kenny, not protags)
- Shibuya was also a big loss for protags side. Not going into the details
- Post shibuya - eliminated some curses, yes. But lost Megumi, his sister, Hakari lost an arm. Angel's plan didn't work to separate Sukuna from Megumi's body
- Now in Shinjuku, if Gojo loses it will add another L to the list.

When I think about it like this, I think Gojo must win.
But he is fighting against Sukuna, so he must defeat Gojo, even if he is on his last legs (then students gang up on him).

Have you thought of a possibility like a restrictive barrier by Kenny to protect Sukuna from students? @NikaInParis @ConquistadoR @EmperorKinyagi
Honestly, we weren't able to predict a single chapter in this fight. I have no clue what's coming next, but I'll be there:endthis:
Why am I convincing Sukuna bros to hold on to this fight and manga so that we can troll them more in the next chapter :shame: @ConquistadoR @NikaInParis @Makima de Sade
It's the same shit that happened 2-3 weeks back:
"Oh boo hoo Gojo too stronk. Whatever will I do if Sukuna loses?"
Sukuna has a better showing next chapter
"Haha you bums! Gojover is true, just like I have been saying all this time."

It's become too boring to engage with those statements

I didnt drop the series because Gojo was sealed.
You did drop the series, right when the exact thing you are asking for start happening though... Yuji getting more prominent.

Nothing to do with that, He and Sukuna has history. He swore he would kill him. And now a side character is doing it for him while he's sitting on a chair.
Sukuna swore he'd kill Gojo, Gojo claimed he'd win too.
And the whole Gojo clan Six Eyes + Limitless vs. Zenin clan Ten Shadows thing.

There is a lot of narrative threads coming full circle with this fight.

People should know better than to fall for the fake sense of victory or fake tension by now. It was obvious from the beginning that Gojo's dying in this fight. He's gonna go down with a bang, which has always been obvious.

Yeah, @Fujishiro is being a bit reactionary now

Gojo vs Sukuna was set up since chapter 2 of the manga, before Sukuna vs Yuji even.

And in these 13 chapters, both had great feats where they pushed the other person on the ropes. Sukuna did that more times than Gojo even.

The cliffhangers having Gojo in predicaments, only to solve them next chapter is understandable when:
- Gojo is the good guy, so seeing him in a pinch works well as a cliffhanger
- Him resolving them makes sense when the whole chapter is Sukuna vs Gojo and we only see their fight (with some commentary on the side). The fight dynamic was set up as a fast paced exchange of techniques.

I'd be surprised if it lasted more than 15 minutes in manga time.

Yes the only actual debate now is if Sukuna will win on his own by using Blackbox Open or if Kenny will step in to bail Sukuna out. Gojo straight up winning and killing Sukuna next chapter is not happening
