Kizaru is not wreckless, being fearless is one thing but that's also Crocodile. He won't make a move he doesn't have confidence in. I genuinely don't think Kizaru sees anyone above him in combat, and for good reason he has no reason to.

Well the thing is Kizaru was ordered to go after WB by Sengoku.
