Guys,

is my presence bad for the games?

What i mean is this:

While i enjoy the way mafia works, the setups, the roles, abilities and so on.

I'm not a big fan of the practices that are expected of players, suchs as doing long ISOs, making longs posts defending your POV, and when you sub in you having to read the entire game thread you lost, or even the phases you lost because you were busy with IRL.

So what i'm saying is that i'm a lazy / low effort player. I don't really care about winning and i do have fun being a part of it, but if my low effort presence ruins the games for others, then maybe i need to quit. I don't want to make the games worse for people.

Before anyone asks, i don't think my level of effort will ever change, i just don't enjoy those really in depth dives you guys do.

So i'm asking all the veterans here.

Is my presence hurting the game for others? or should i let myself keep playing games with low effort (as long as i'm not breaking any rules and doing what is required of me, not being completely inactive)?

I'm worse than you and I'm undefeated so you'll be fine.

Ironically I think I've only ever won as scum once, and that was during DDL's 2019 Mafiamania, where I was carried by Kvothe, Rion, and Ismael.

My best scum games, 1 I ended by spite killing Flower to let an indie win, 2 was an Aries game where an Indie took over the dead roles, and 3rd was just another Aries game were I survived the game as Mewtwo.

There are actually a lot of mafia communities where the pace is pretty slow where a game can last a year sometimes from what I heard.

Its when I'm active I lose. This game, Wads Favorites, Alley Mafia, Cross Epoch 1


My most active games, town or scum I lose. My coast games however, go from a 0% win rate to a 10% win rate.

Ironically most of those games were before I had that reputation XD

I still remember that purely because Tpein was in my SSBM scum chat, then he himself complained about my games after that in comparison to that game lol.


Also even back then, when I was active I was scum read. When I say I'm a disciple of Alwaymind and Lord Genome, I am being serious lol.


If you suspect me as scum in one of your games, I'm almost certainly town. It's when its late in the game and you realise I'm actually there, and have no read on me, that I'm actually a problem.
