Mochi is a Logia fruit in all but name, so it's automatically above 95% of DFs

Oda retconned the fruit before he had it awakened so I assume it’s inferior to a logia in at least that aspect

Honestly ever since Hachinosu began, Oda has felt EXTREMELY inconsistent.

There were instances where we couldn’t tell for sure if Garp, Koby, or Kuzan used it.

Last chapter we couldn’t tell if Luffy used it.

Im expecting this chapter to be more of the same.

Yeah even during Wano if Kaido hadn't stated that Luffy was using CoC and CoA in Gear 5 fans would still be thinking that Luffy wasn't using them with his awakening

Or their final clash being regarded as a fierce haki clash while there's no visual cue for Kaido using it but editor comment indicates that

Or similarly Sentomaru using barrier haki without any visual cue

Haki is super incoinsistent

Coby and Kuzan with 1 panel is one thing, a full chapter of Luffy fighting shouldn’t be ambiguous. We will see his fists/kicks laced with acoc and his prep time at one point.

The difference is that the Franky thing was hundreds of chapters before the Kaido fight.

While the light gloves was like 20 chapters ago.

Although hey I could be wrong the Nidai Kitetsu never went anywhere

I mean it’s speculation on my part but I assume that

1) someone will hit Kizaru with the light gloves
2) Kizaru has an awakening

If both of those are correct, this 100% feels like setup for Doffy 2.0 lol

Those lihht gloves isn't for luffy
Luffy literally grabs kizaru here ..He can grab even lightning
He doesn't need gloves to hurt kizaru
He's able to tag kizaru fine

Awakened kizaru ain't gonna be a problem for g5 which can adapt and do anything

Hopefully Kizaru has awakening

It's better he just loses that to get slaughtered both rounds of g5 like doffy was vs g4

Kizaru already did what is bare minimum: match G4 and be dominant slightly in thr end
(Whether Luffy Used adcoc or not, it is still G4 Luffy )
Him fighting g5 in 1 round and losing mid diff is enough
Than see him get oneshotted in round 2 of g5

1) There have been a bunch of one-off unfired Chekhov's guns like Zoro leading the samurai or Franky creating anti-Kaido weapons, so I personally don't put much stock into these light gloves (especially when four of the Straw Hats don't need them to touch Kizaru).
2) Luffy's awakening is the most hyped up power in the story, the "most ridiculous power in the world" and something I expect to still be superior to any other DF awakening

There's also generally far fewer people around to help with stalling Kizaru if the fight ever gets to that point, so I think we'll just get a straight 1v1 with no interruptions where Luffy wins to assert his top-tier status.

All I’m gonna say is that the only paramecia on the level of a logia is the Gura Gura as per Oda’s own words in an SBS.

I assume there’s a reason for that beyond fluids bodies

Logia awakenings are basically guaranteed to be just as strong as Luffy's because of Blackbeard though

Someone has awakening when Oda show it
I won't be sure of Admirals having awakening until I see it, same with CoC
(sources been saying Admirals showing CoC for the last months and nothing...I stopped getting fooled by those . I now wanna see it in raws or oda says it)
