Are we even sure isn't lying? Isn't there any ability that could just exchange the investigation result? I just don't want to kill someone innocent again.

I dont see the benefit of faking investigator so early for town, itd just put the spotlight on him if Michelle flips town. There is an ability that can do that and its called a bus drive, basically if Pero watched Michelle and she was bus driven with person A then Peroroncino wouldve investigated person A instead. Its a possibility like I said earlier.

- insane cop (gets opposite result, usually doesn't know about that)
- busdriver targeted me and mafia, changing our places and Pero visited mafia in fact but he doesn't know
- mafia has an ability to change cop's result
Etc

Or
- he lies, but is hard to consider mafia would trade 1:1 with a player who can be mislynched because I defended scum very strong, so my take is that he doesn't lie, he only spread the lie he received

It seems weird that he lied, right? It would be risky for Day 2.
So we have two main possibilities.

- You're scum then die.
- He got a false result.

I said that because he works long hours and likely couldn't be there to defend himself. Most long time users here knew about his situation so they were probably playing ignorance when they said "if he doesn't show up it's likely because he's scum'
