=> Kaido did it in Kuri to beat Post WCI Luffy .

=> Kaido did it in RT against Luffy with adv CoC Ragnaraku .

=> Shanks did it against Kidd .

I have Lucci as YC1 so I wouldn't consider it as a L for Zoro
but I also don't have him = Luffy

I have Zoro as a low-mid diff for Luffy so the harder Lucci presses him the more I like

Gear 5 is Luffy's peak, as was made explicit by himself, and he clashed with Lucci in that form. He has also shown with both the Seraphim and Kizaru that he does not just start in Gear 5 without any reason, so he deemed Lucci worthy enough for him to go all out right from the jump.

Zoro can use KoH, as long as he only takes one or two shots at Lucci to beat him? He performs better with him than Luffy did, and thats fact.

Is Zoro supposed to struggle when he can dispatch off Lucci's ass extremely fast ?

it's only a L if he struggles (as he would suffer the comparison with Luffy). But I can't see Oda making Zoro genuinely struggle against a guy that got 2 Ls in the same arc.
